Background

When ScalixAl began working with HDF in April 2025, the Google Ads account lacked a coherent structure to support the scale of the organization's mission. Campaigns were fragmented, making it difficult to attribute donations, allocate budget efficiently between evergreen causes and urgent appeals, or respond quickly when major humanitarian crises broke. IDF needed a scalable, data driven engine that could support both year round indraising and the massive spend surges required during Ramadan and emergency moments, without sacrificing ROAS.

No emergency response playbook. The account couldn’t scale quickly when crises like Gaza, Sudan or Lebanon demanded rapid fundraising.

Ramadan under leveraged. The highest intent period for Muslim donors wasn’t being captured with dedicated Zakat, DSA or Demand Gen campaigns.

Our step by step approach to rebuilding and scaling the account.

Launched a clean full funnel structure across Brand, Non Brand, DSA, and cause specific campaigns (Gaza, Palestine) to establish a reliable attribution baseline.

Built a rapid launch playbook for humanitarian crises, enabling HDF to spin up dedicated campaigns for Gaza, Sudan, Lebanon, and Syria within hours of a breaking appeal.

Layered in Demand Gen prospecting and remarketing campaigns to expand reach beyond search intent. Critical for scaling budget during Ramadan without collapsing ROAS

Launched a dedicated Zakat Calculator campaign for Ramadan, capturing high intent donors at the moment they were computing their obligation, a period when purchase intent peaks for Muslim audiences.

Deployed multiple video creative formats across Demand Gen to test emotional appeal, cause specific storytelling, and impact metric framing. Top performers were then scaled with confidence.

Scaled monthly spend from a $75K base to a peak of roughly $500K during Ramadan 2026, with daily active monitoring to protect ROAS while capturing peak season intent.
